Collodion Wet Plate An 1850's process. Collodion, in this particular instance, is poured onto a glass plate, dipped in silver nitrate to create sensitivity to light, placed in a holder, then into the camera for exposure. The plate needs to be developed within 10 minutes, washed and fixed and then washed further. When dry I scan it and make a silver-gelatin print. Print size 10x12-13" Mounted to 16x20" or 16x18"
